  • We are pleased to share that R.I.W.E. has been invited to participate in the 2026 Women’s Empowerment Expo organized by Harvard Alumni for Global Women’s Empowerment (GlobalWE). The Expo brings together organizations from around the world working on women’s empowerment, including areas such as health, education, freedom from violence, economic empowerment, and political rights. The event will take place on April 18, 2026 (on campus in Boston) and April 25, 2026 (virtual). We look forward to this opportunity to engage with the Harvard community and to contribute to the global dialogue on women’s rights and empowerment.
  • The Sound of Silence: Art, Forced Migration and the Price of Freedom is an exhibition by Ukrainian artist Fedir Alexandrovich, presented on 22–23 April 2026 at the Ukraine Civil Society Hub at the European Parliament in Brussels, and dedicated to the memory of Ukrainian musician Yaroslav Kmytko (1997–2025). Created as both a tribute and a public reflection, the exhibition addresses the human cost of forced migration, social invisibility, isolation, and structural vulnerability experienced by displaced Ukrainians in Europe. Through visual art and public dialogue, the project invites audiences to reflect on what is lost when a person is displaced not only from home, but also from belonging, dignity, voice, and support. The programme includes an opening and curated policy discussion at the European Parliament, an open exhibition day, and an evening meeting with the artist and the Ukrainian community in Brussels.
